The school have a box-shaped building features an envelope oriented to the North and South, with an overhang roof design on all sides.
This design provides shading to block direct overhead sunlight, thereby reducing heat transfer through conduction.
Their building design is mostly to cater a slim building that allows maximum daylight usage such as their classroom, library and offices that has a wide windows.
Out of 89% of building space, only 36.54% are served by the air conditioning, and will only be used when the temperature is higher than 28c. They have installed a total of 296 solar PV panel which has saved 15.13% / 133,200kWh of energy usage and equiavalent to RM 67,621.20 bill electricity saving.
