A moment of pride for the country today as a total of 17 Malaysian organisations and individuals participating in the ASEAN Energy Awards (AEA) 2021, emerged as winners across various categories with Wong Tin Song of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources (KeTSA) being conferred the ASEAN Excellence in Energy Management by an individual award, further solidifying the nation’s leading role in the deployment of sustainability technologies across Southeast Asia.

The National Energy Awards (NEA) return for the fourth consecutive year to recognise 29 local industry players with exceptional achievements in the field of renewable energy (RE) and energy efficiency (EE). The winners of NEA 2021 were announced virtually by the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources today.

Kementerian Tenaga dan Sumber Asli (KeTSA) hari ini mengumumkan para pemenang bagi National Energy Awards (NEA) 2020. NEA adalah satu majis anugerah tahunan untuk mengiktiraf pencapaian cemerlang dan amalan-amalan terbaik di kalangan organisasi bagi memacu agenda tenaga lestari negara. Anugerah ini dianjurkan secara tahunan sejak 2018 sebagai sebahagian daripada inisiatif Kementerian bagi menggalakkan penggunaan tenaga boleh baharu dan amalan kecekapan tenaga di Malaysia.

The Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources (KeTSA) today announced the winners of the National Energy Awards (NEA) 2020. NEA is an annual recognition to acknowledge outstanding achievements and best practices in driving the country’s sustainable energy agenda. The award was inaugurated in 2018 as part of the Ministry’s initiatives to promote energy efficiency and renewable energy in Malaysia.
