A total of 12 Malaysian projects have won the ASEAN Energy Awards (AEA) 2023 for the adoption of sustainable energy practices. The AEA 2023 awards ceremony was held in Bali, Indonesia, on the sidelines of the recently concluded 41st ASEAN Ministers on Energy Meeting (AMEM).

Sebanyak 12 projek dari Malaysia telah memenangi Anugerah Tenaga ASEAN (AEA) atau ASEAN Energy Awards bagi tahun 2023. Majlis penyampaian anugerah AEA 2023 tahun ini yang telah diadakan di Bali, Indonesia dianjurkan bersempena dengan Mesyuarat Menteri-Menteri Tenaga ASEAN Ke-41 (AMEM).

The Ministry of Natural Resources, Environment and Climate Change (NRECC) together with the Malaysian Green Technology and Climate Change Corporation (MGTC) today announced and awarded 29 winners of the National Energy Awards (NEA) 2023 from a total of 114 submissions.

Kementerian Sumber Asli, Alam Sekitar dan Perubahan Iklim (NRECC) bersama-sama dengan Malaysian Green Technology and Climate Change Corporation (MGTC) hari ini mengumumkan dan menyampaikan anugerah kepada 29 pemenang Anugerah Tenaga Kebangsaan (NEA) 2023 daripada sejumlah 114 penyertaan yang diterima

The National Energy Awards or NEA recognises the outstanding achievements and best practices of the public and private sectors in driving the country’s sustainable energy agenda. Inaugurated in 2018, NEA is part of the government’s effort in promoting Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy.

The annual National Energy Awards (NEA) is now open for 2023 submission. This Award aims to support sustainable energy practices while recognising and honouring industry players for their innovations as Malaysia transitions to a climate-conscious green economy.

To encourage the adoption of the sustainable energy practises agenda, the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources (KeTSA) would like to announce the final call for submissions to participate in the National Energy Award (NEA) 2022, the country’s premier accolade for sustainable energy game-changers. Since the inaugural NEA in 2018, the Awards have recognised close to 100 organisations at the forefront of growing the nation’s sustainable energy sector.
