During the years of 2019 to 2023, Hospital Gerik has managed consistently to invest about half a million ringgit per year for its energy management measures.

This has resulted in energy savings of about 9.5 percent for the years 2019 to 2023 based on the energy consumption during the base year of 2018.

During the NEA 2024 evaluation, Hospital Gerik obtained the second highest score among the candidates in the Energy Management in Small and Medium Buildings category, leading it to be declared the runner up winner in this category.
