They achieved a game-changing feat at the Gunung Ledang Water Treatment Plant in Tangkak by creating the state’s first net-zero water treatment plant.
They replaced diesel generators with a 110kW micro hydro generator, reducing 90.74 tonnes of emissions, ensuring uninterrupted water supply, and setting a new sustainability standard.
Their success paves the way for similar eco-friendly upgrades in other plants, offering a greener, more dependable future.
