Over the 3 years (2021-2023), Smart Modular Technologies has reduced its Energy Efficiency Index (kWh/m2) by about 7.9%.
This was achieved by, among others:

• installing motors and pumps with inverters
• Auditing and closing gaps in air conditioning cool air passage ways
• Replacing existing with more efficient AHUs
• Power monitoring with a Building Monitoring System

During the NEA 2024 evaluation, Smart Modular Technologies obtained the second highest score among the candidates in the Energy Management in the Small and Medium Industries category, leading it to be declared the runner up winner in this category.
